SPRING RALLY 2010 NEWS: AKA. Myrtle Beach Bike Week, the 2010 Spring Rally IS ON! But DON'T call Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce. They will only tell you that they are not having bike rallies anymore. What they really mean is that Myrtle Beach City is not sponsoring events or permitting vendors in the city limits for any motorcycle related events under current regulations. The Grand Strand area is approximately 60 miles of beaches and is planning on welcoming you, regardless what the City says or does. So come and enjoy all the benefits this area has to offer. Anyway, here as some bullet points to remember if you come to the Rally...
Bring, wear, buy a helmet since the city of Myrtle Beach may be requiring you to wear a helmet if you travel through it. This local infraction is being challenged in court may be deemed illegal by the State of South Carolina. A decision is expected prior to this event.
Keep noise levels to minimum around town
Two bikes per parking space maximum
Obey all posted signs
Come and have a great time
